  • $165 for individual session
  • $225 for couples or family session

We are out-of-network (OON) providers. If you use OON benefits, we will provide you with monthly “Superbills”, which can be submitted to insurance companies for partial reimbursement. If you have more questions on this process, do not hesitate to reach out.

There are a few reasons why we are not directly paneled with insurance companies. First, insurance companies often dictate the course of treatment and do not allow clinicians to tailor the time or interventions needed for each individual client. Insurance companies also need diagnostic and treatment details for billing purposes. We hold client confidentiality, privacy and boundaries to the highest regard and do not want to share that information with larger insurance companies.

Also because of this choice, clinicians at Coastal Collective Counseling are able to take on smaller caseloads and dedicate their full knowledge and expertise to their clients instead of being stretched thin and burnt out.

In accordance with the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your counseling services will cost. Health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

You can request your health care provider give you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
